St Patrick’s Day 2024

Join us on St Patrick’s Day, Sunday 17th March when we will be welcoming Rt Revd Dr Jill Duff, Bishop of Lancaster, as our preacher at our main morning worship services (10:00am and 11:30am).

Bishop David will then be joining us at 6:00pm for a special Light the Beacon Prayer service, to encourage us to pray as a diocese for rekindling of the fire of faith that Patrick lit in Ireland almost 1600 years ago.

Fundraising events 2024

During 2024, we have planned some exciting fun and fundraising events in the parish.

These include a Big Breakfast and car wash, Table Quiz, Wedding Dress Festival, Country Gospel evening and BBQ, Organ relay marathon, motorcycle show and Christmas Craft Fair.

Please join us for GROW, our series of eight practical teaching evenings taking place from Sunday 12–Sunday 19 May in Willowfield Church and St Saviour’s Dollingstown.

Bishop David took the first session last night and has invited seven other speakers each of whom will teach on a biblical value that helps to create an environment for church growth. Our speakers have years of experience fostering these focus areas in local church settings in Ireland and what they share will be both practical and inspirational.

- Revd Alastair Graham: Creating healthy Christian communities
Tuesday 14 May at 7.30pm in Willowfield Church

Thursday 16 May at 7.30pm in St Saviour’s Dollingstown
- Hilary McClay: Ministry that impacts a local community
Friday 17 May at 7.30pm in St Saviour’s Dollingstown
- Revd John Dickinson: Keeping the Bible front and centre
Saturday 18 May at 7.30pm in St Saviour’s Dollingstown
- Pastor David Legge: Ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit
Sunday 19 May (Pentecost Sunday) at 7.00pm in St Saviour’s Dollingstown

Tea and coffee will be available 30 mins beforehand.

Before that, please do join us for our church family service at 10:45am and the festival will be open to the public from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
