SNYF is a group of Christians, who seek to encourage one another as we learn more about the faith together. Most weeks, therefore, we seek to study the Bible, to find out what God’s word says about himself, and about how we are to live out our faith. Another important element of our meetings is prayer, for ourselves, each other, and also for the wider world, bringing our needs before God and seeking His blessing on our lives.

SNYF began in July 1998 with a meeting of young people who were interested in having some sort of organisation on Sunday nights. It was decided at that meeting that we should be called Sunday Night Youth Fellowship (SNYF). Our Rector, Stephen led us for the initial phase and then Gareth Harron joined us when he became Curate of the parish.Dromore Cathedral is part of the Church of Ireland Diocese of Down and Dromore and we are often involved in many events organised by or under the banner of DDYC (along with a number of other Youth Fellowships from other Churches of Ireland).
