Evensong at Dromore Cathedral

Monday, January 7th, 2008

Continuing and developing the tradition of regular services of evensong, the cathedral will be the venue for worship on Sunday 13th January 2008 at 6 pm. With music provided by the choir accompanied by cathedral organist David Falconer, visitors are more than welcome to attend. Hearing in the reading how the trumpets of Joshua brought down the walls of Jericho, we hope our music has a slightly less dramatic but nonetheless God honouring impact this Sunday night.

Celebrate at Ten

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

Celebrate at Ten or CIAO, as it is affectionately known, is a specially designed alternative to the more traditional services usually associated with the Church of Ireland. We aim to create an environment that is fun, relaxed, fast moving, challenging and that appeals to all ages.

The service incorporates contemporary worship music and the occasional traditional hymn, puppet drama, intercessory prayer and prayer ministry, teaching and any other thing that we feel might get across the message that God loves people and that church can be both fun and relevant to our 21 Century world.

If you like your services interactive, unconventional, unpredictable or just plain random then Ciao might just be the right fit for you. You will be made very welcome!

Where? The Cathedral
When? Sunday 10am Weekly
Who? All ages, especially families with children as the Children’s Sunday Programme (DC Rock) meets during the service
