… with Sunday 19th October at 6.00 pm when the Rev Colin Gracie, Minister of Dromore Methodist Church makes his first visit to preach at the cathedral. Last Sunday’s 6 pm service at the cathedral was “transferred” to meet in the Methodist Church, as a sign of our covenant unity with our fellow believers in Methodism.
We hope visitors will join us on Sunday night at 6.00pm. Gifts for elderly and housebound will be collected for distribution after church as the new organ installation begins the following morning and parts of the building will not be safe for visitors.
Next Sunday, 19th October, the two morning congregations join as one for a family friendly all age service at 11.30. George Newell of Willowfield Parish will be speaking to everyone present and the Cathedral Choir will be singing a piece by John Rutter entitled “For the Beauty of the earth.” Remember the time 11.30 am. Children attending may like to bring gifts for distribution to the elderly and housebound after Harvest.
James Lawrence of CPAS has led the teaching at a conference of diocesan clergy, workers and spouses held this week in Donegal.
