Parish Auction: hammer struck!

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

The Cathedral Hall was the venue for the Parish Auction on Saturday 12th April. Doors opened at 9.30 to give the discerning bidders their opportunity to see the items ready for the auction. Most of the goods were sold with one or two being passed on to local charity shops if unsold. Over £2000 was raised at the event. The final figures will be published in the next edition of Parish Post.

We thank Wesley Sawyers, our auctioneer, Brian Mackey and Sam Redmond and the team of helpers, including the resfreshment team, and the bidding public for making this a successful first for the parish.
