St Patrick’s Day 2024
Join us on St Patrick’s Day, Sunday 17th March when we will be welcoming Rt Revd Dr Jill Duff, Bishop of Lancaster, as our preacher at our main morning worship services (10:00am and 11:30am).
Bishop David will then be joining us at 6:00pm for a special Light the Beacon Prayer service, to encourage us to pray as a diocese for rekindling of the fire of faith that Patrick lit in Ireland almost 1600 years ago.
Fundraising events 2024
During 2024, we have planned some exciting fun and fundraising events in the parish.
These include a Big Breakfast and car wash, Table Quiz, Wedding Dress Festival, Country Gospel evening and BBQ, Organ relay marathon, motorcycle show and Christmas Craft Fair.

This is a great initiative from Moira Presbyterian Church.
On the last Friday of each monthat 2:30pm, they are holding a traditional hymn singing session for people living with dementia and their carers.

If you could lend your voice to the ranks of the Cathedral Choir (even on a casual basis) we would love you to come along to any of the practices (usually Thursday evenings, as advised, at 7:30pm in the Choir Room, upstairs in the Clayton Memorial Hall) or come and sit with the choir on a Sunday morning.
