We are delighted to be welcoming Lisburn Community Choir to the Cathedral Hall on the evening of Saturday 21st April at 7.30pm. The growing Choir have been delighting audiences for a number of years and this will be their first visit to the Cathedral. On the night they will be performing a whole range of musical items with a selection of African pieces. The evening has been organised to raise funds for Ross Stewart who is travelling to Albany Diocese in July, and our Rector and Chelsey Whan who are travelling to N. Uganda in October. Ross will be participating in mission to children and young people through clubs being delivered by a team from Down & Dromore. Geoff and Chelsey will be participating in a Conference for the Church of South Sudan which will be situated in Arua, N. Uganda due to ongoing civil unrest in South Sudan.
Tickets are priced at £10 and can be obtained from the Church office or any of the team members. All proceeds will be used to part fund the cost of travel with any excess going to support the work of our link Diocese, Maridi as they respond to the ongoing crisis.
